Join us for an exciting day of theatre sound design workshops led by a professional from the Association for Sound Designers & Production (ASDP). These hands-on sessions are the perfect opportunity for young people to explore the fascinating world of sound in theatre and storytelling.

Workshop 1: Ages 8–12

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

A fun and interactive introduction to how sound brings stories to life on stage! Young participants will learn how sound designers work, explore different equipment, and get creative with audio in a friendly, collaborative setting.

Workshop 2: Ages 13–18

1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

A more in-depth session tailored to young folk interested in the world behind the scenes. Participants will explore the tools, techniques, and software used in professional sound design. We’ll also share tips on building your own creative portfolio and pathways into further training or careers in theatre sound.
