What is AutoCAD?

AutoCAD allows for accurate to-scale 3D models of spaces, objects and buildings to be drawn on the computer. It is used extensively in the fields of architecture, but also in theatre set and lighting design. The uses of this software in theatre sound applications might include designing a rig, checking its feasibility in the virtual model, and working out speaker coverage.
